Interested in becoming an FFAC presenter? Want to learn how to speak effectively on behalf of animals and the environment? Join us for our next professional speaker training!
At the training, you will learn to present on the effects of factory farming. You'll learn techniques you can use right away in all professional and personal communication,as well as how to become a more confident and successful public speaker – even if you have never before spoken in front of groups, and even if you're afraid of public speaking. FFAC has partnered with Josephine Bellaccomo, a professional pitch consultant with over 15 years of experience, to support your skill development and to empower you to use your voice in any situation.
Time: January 24th from 1pm-5pm.
Place: NextSpace in Berkeley (2081 Center St.), right near Downtown Berkeley BART
Fee: $40. Includes activist training, personal and videofeedback, and follow-up consultation. The fee also includes our professional trainer's fantastic communication guidebook Move the Message – Your Guide to Making a Difference and Changing the World. Discounted rates are available for those with financial need.
Preparation: Please prepare to present 3-5 minutes of the FFAC presentation, any section of your choice. You do not need to memorize the script; it's much better to just familiarize yourself with the information and corresponding slides so, on the day of the training, you're comfortable speaking about the slides you choose. Advance payment is required to reserve your spot, but full refunds are available as long as you cancel 48 hours before the training.
