Interested in speaking on behalf of animals and the environment? Want to learn how to be a more effective activist? Come to our first-ever Los Angeles activism training!
Our activist training focuses on learning to present about the effects of factory farming on workers, animals, the environment, and public health. You will learn how to effectively discuss this sensitive topic, how to answer frequently asked questions, and how to become a more confident and successful public speaker and activist.
Time: January 31st from 1pm-5pm. Optional vegan potluck at 11:30am.
Place: Palos Verdes
Preparation: Please prepare to present 3-5 minutes of the FFAC presentation, any section of your choice. You do not need to memorize the script; it's much better to just familiarize yourself with the information and corresponding slides so, on the day of the training, you're comfortable speaking about the slides you choose. You can find the script online here and the slides online here.
- RSVP: The training is limited to 10 people, so please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible to reserve your spot and receive the address for the training. If you RSVP and are unable to make it, please let us know ASAP so we can contact people on the waitlist.
Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions at email@example.com. We're looking forward to seeing you all!
