Regional director - san Francisco

About the Position:

FFAC is seeking a regional director to raise awareness about factory farming and empower people to make sustainable, compassionate food choices. The primary responsibility is giving presentations to schools, businesses, and community groups in the San Francisco Bay Area about the impacts of factory farming on animals, workers, and the environment. The job also entails planning local events, and managing volunteers and interns.

Details:

The job will be full-time in the San Francisco Bay Area during the school year, with summers off. It is approximately 40 hours per week, though the schedule is flexible and varies from month to month.

Skills Required:

We are seeking candidates who are:

  • Skilled at public speaking

  • Knowledgeable about factory farming and the food system

  • Passionate about animals, social justice, and the environment

  • Friendly

  • Willing to meet people where they are and promote gradual dietary change

  • Organized

  • Motivated

Institutional Campaigns Director

About the Position:

FFAC is seeking a director to work with schools, businesses, and municipalities to coordinate implementation of changes to institutional food policy. The primary responsibility will be liaising with institutional stakeholders, students/employees, administration/management, and dining services, to ensure successful launch and implementation of the program.

Details:

The job will be full-time, and candidates can work remotely from anywhere within the United States or Canada.
